There is no way I know of the recalibrate the rotor controller to compensate for that. And you really should climb the tower to attend to the problem. If it turned in the wind once, it will do it again, and you'll never be able to track where the antenna is.

Dick is the absolute BEST. He worked on my sick 78 a few years ago. The turn-around was quick, and his rates are extremely reasonable. He even drove across town to pick up a part from Allen Bond at Max Gain Systems to save me down time and round trip shipping - at no extra charge. He has always been...

Kevin J Darrah 40 High Point Rd Knox, PA 16232 His listing has been dropped from QRZ.com, so either they've had complaints about him and dropped him, or he doesn't want to be so easily found and asked for it to be dropped. I found him in the US FCC Callsign Database. You might have your US lawyer fi...

Don, I wish you luck with this one. I looked over his web site and, customer service issues aside, BS artist is a gross understatement. He's advertizing a 3 element 6M beam at 10.645 dBd in both E and H planes. I would guess it might be 7 or so dBi, and I would like to know how he found that extra ....

K9AU - Stright Shooter
I bought a pair of 3CPX800's from Frank as spares for the Alpha 86 I bought two months ago. Next day shipping, arrived extremely well packed in two days, and they're even a little hotter than the 3CPX's that came with the amp. I am an extremely happy camper. I believe he may have some more, so buy w...

WA7KUM Smooth transaction
Ingo, WA7KUM bought the AL-1200 I listed early this month and things went very smoothly. He contacted me the day after I listed by email and phone, and sent payment the same day. I shipped the day after payment arrived, and all three boxes got to him in good shape. Hope it works well for you and tha...

eBay and PayPal will tell you that they never, NEVER send emails, with or without links that ask you to send or update personal or account information. If you EVER get an email from either asking you to log on through a link to update information, simply forward the email to: spoof@ebay.com for eBay...

The answer is yes, a normal person might easily believe that you have no call, but that is apparently your own doing. Oh and by the way, you haven't put up an argument yet, and I am the unwilling debate opponent ? Maybe I need to go back and reread Robert's Rules because I don't remember any require...

John, Your call does not appear on eHam.net or QTH.com because they both use the QRZ.com database, from which you opted out. K1MAN was banned from QRZ.com for a time, but his call now appears on all three sites. If you look me up on QTH.com you will see a picture of my wife and myself that has never...

John, I'm not really following your gripe here. Yes, QRZ.com does not list all US Amateur calls. Some like yourself have opted out for various personal reasons, and others have been involuntarily opted out for abuse of the site among other reasons. Yes, they have a pecuniary interest in those who se...

W3JJI - Honest Trader
John, W3JJI had an ad posted looking for fixer-upper Dentron amplifiers and I had a non-working MLA-1200 that served me well for 20 years, but I have too many amps and no time to rebuild the PS for the third time so I answered the ad. We agreed on a price and I promised to ship when I could. John ma...
