Try going to vibroplex.com web page.
This will give you an idea of what they cost new if still being made.

Hi;
Well if you take the original costs of both total rigs separately, then take 70% of each, this will give you the difference.
When store dealers sell a newer model radio, they go by 70% of the original cost.
Of course there are variables.

Thats a hard one because you hardly ever see these amps. For one thing, they are smaller in size to either the AL-80A & AL-80B, that might be a selling point for some. You can try & go by similar amps of yore like the Heath SB-200, Swan 1200 series, etc. I would say if clean & working, its got to be...

Re: boxes

I suspect the request for original boxes is it guarantees proper packing. Some times UPS will not honor some insurance if shipped with out "original " packaging. Correct on the safer delivery but if UPS takes your money, they have to cover you for damages, etc! I have an Original Hammarlund 4-20 tr...

I have found in my case that Icom mikes work with all/most Icom radios if they both have 8 pins.
I have used the SM-5 with the Icom 761, 765, 781.
Maybe I was lucky :wink:

Most Collectors buy 2 & sell 1 just to keep the better unit.
This is repeated until he gets divorced :D

I never heard of a 35 either but
I seem to remember the SBE 36 as having a few names on it, one was ROBYN, these were digital read-out & may have been made in Japan.
There were a few other private labeled names :?:

Anyone know the value of KWS-1 HV Fuses?

Hi All; I don't need these & would like to know a fair price as I never seen them listed before, anywhere. I found 4, 3 are black & marked F28A, 2500v CEFCO, 1A. The Lighter colored one is unmarked but the same physical size as the 3 black ones. I only checked them with a VOM like any other fuse, sh...

Hi Randy;
Chances are that you'll never use it.
You might try putting it on Ebay to get really what its worth or try selling it here on QTH for $200?
I have no use for it but it brings back memories of the Olden Days.

Hi dan;
The Speaker(MS-4) usually go for $60-$80 depending on Condx.
The AC-3 supply I guess about $50-$75 because its the older style for the TR-3 & early T-4X.

Hi Randy; you've not seen many because not many were made. Does it use the 837 tubes or modified 1625's? I had one once, built nice but I believe it was not meant to be used with a Transceiver, only with receiver/transmitter combo? I would suspect that if working it might be worth a few $100 to a co...
