eBay or other third party ads on QTH

Since Ebay is a pay site for sellers and QTH is free with a donation option I vote no. It is not fair to Scot. 73 Jeff N4JJP

Spelling and grammar

I could not agree more. Also, I cannot resist. It is "an ad" not "a ad". 73 Jeff

I have been trying to remember where I have seen Fred's user name before. Haans Gruber was the lead bad guy in the first Die Hard movie who when Holly McClain called him a theif proclaimed" I am an exceptional thief". I am not making any statements pro or con. There may be another connection here I ...

I am a law enforcement officer and I completely agree that you should be able to expect a high level of integrity form a LEO/HAM especially when that individual posts a picture of himself in his department uniform on QRZ. His department would be very concerned that the postiing of that picture could...

If you have not already cashed the check I would not. In many jurisdictions if you accept and cash or deposit the check then it removes the criminal aspect of the incident leaving you only with a civil suit as an option. This is the case where I live. The courts here would say that by accepting the ...

I hope that you did not depost or cash the check for $50.00. If you did then in many jurisdictions that would change the status from a criminal matter to that of a civil matter removing any criminal options from the table. 73

Non-paying buyer

You are absolutely correct, but this could be a blessing in disguise. If he did not care enough to give you a call chances are he also might not mind stiffing you after he received your radio, 73 Jeff N4JJP

40 meter mobile problem

I run an Alinco dx-70th mobile. I use Iron Horse antennas. The only band that I have any problems on is 40 meters. Every time I key up it causes the car to spit and sputter. Any ideas. Thaks Jeff N4JJP
