Transaction with N9NOS

Post by leer66 »

:) Purchased a Kenwood TM-733A from Gene and the unit arrived well packed and was in very good condition with all of the parts; plus, he threw in an additional new Kenwood DTMF mike. We had a miscommunication on the TSU-8 tone board that I thought was installed in the unit. When I pointed it out he quickly offered to refund my purchase price and apologized for the misunderstanding. No fuss, no hassle. Given the price of $225, the unit's condition, the remote kit, and extra mike I decided to keep it.
I'd deal with him again.

For all transctions for ham gear with anyone, a detailed written list of what comes with the radio and its condition is a good idea to avoid misunderstandings.

Thanks Gene.
