Anyone here have any experience with person? He does does not have an amateur radio license. but he has had ham gear for sale. His address is 245 Chestnut St in Audubon, New Jersey 08106.

John, I have not had any dealings with him ... but you really need to read the last page or so of postings here on "Feedback Forum!" BUYING something from a non-ham ... is like rolling the dice ... it is a gamble. (Yes, this is merely my opinion. But if you read the last few postings ... I think you will see that it is an opinion shared by many others. And it is an opinion based on real, true to life, experiences!)

This is not in any way a negative slur against all non-hams who are selling equipment. I just think that your odds of being burnt increase greatly ... for the most part.

Yes, as current postings show ... there are some with a "Ham Radio License" who are crooked beyond words. But as for me ... I have only been burnt one time ... & it was by a guy who claimed to be a SWL.
