Scam on sellers for a picture of your rig.

Post by k8cix »

This is one of several notices sent in by other hams. I listed an IC-728 on all 3 sights and was contacted by
allann9at@gmail.com, he wants a picture of the rig with both his and my call letters on a piece of paper. I called the real Allen (note the E instead of A) and he had never heard of me or my ad. This guy steals your picture and call, deletes the additional call and try's to sell, using your call and picture. He also uses call and email, ka1wi@gmail.com, and probably many others. BEWARE of anyone asking for a picture of your sale item with his and your call on it. BEWARE. Roger, K8CIX
